Emerging arbovirus:
Virus-host interactions &
Transmission dynamics

What we do
Our lab works on understanding virus-host interactions and the transmission dynamics of arboviruses that cause human diseases. We use a transdisciplinary approach that combines virology, immunology, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and computational methods to advance basic and translational knowledge. Our goal is to improve public health outcomes by strengthening our ability to anticipate, prepare for, and mitigate arbovirus outbreaks and epidemics. We are also dedicated to training current and future arbovirus researchers
Our mission

“We generate knowledge and tools that contribute to improve public health outcomes and reduce inequalities in populations affected by arboviruses”
