Research Associate or Postdoctoral Research in Emerging RNA viruses
We’re seeking a highly motivated Research Associate or Postdoctoral Research to join our research team. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in advancing our understanding of emerging RNA viruses and their diseases through spatial, epidemiological, and statistical analysis
In this role, you will:
- Analyze data to understand the transmission dynamics of arboviruses and emerging RNA viruses
- Develop and apply statistical and machine learning models to address challenging virological questions
- Collaborate with researchers to interpret diverse biological and epidemiological datasets
You are a great fit if you have:
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a closely related field (PhD preferred for Postdoctoral Research)
- Strong programming proficiency in R, Python, or C++ (experience with all three a plus)
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis and familiarity with spatial epidemiology
- Experience with machine learning models for analyzing biological and epidemiological datasets (preferred, especially for Postdoctoral Research)
